National Elite Qualifying - Good Luck Baely and Nicole!

Baely and Nicole will travel to the National Team Training Center in Houston to compete in the National Elite Qualifier on July 4th and 5th. Nikki will compete in the HOPES division and Baely will compete as a Junior Elite. If Baely and Nicole obtain a predetermined score they can qualify to the US Classic/Challenge held in Des Moines, IA at the end of July. Let's wish them luck on their way to Houston!

Auburn Gymnastics has several exciting events coming up in the month of June. Within the next few weeks kids will be out of school for the summer and we plan to celebrate! Listed below are our great events!

The Auburn School District "Feed the Kids" summer program will be held at AGC!
All summer long the Auburn School District will be providing FREE healthy lunches for anyone who stops by. Lunch will be provided from 11:15am-11:30am for all children 1-18 years. All you have to do is stop by!

Baely Qualifies to the Junior Olympic National Team!035_35.JPG

Congratulations to AGC's Baely Rowe. She had an awesome showing at the Junior Olympic National Championships. Baely placed third in the All Around in the Junior A division qualifying her to the JO National Team. Baely will get to travel to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for a training camp in June. Baely also placed second on Bars and Floor! Congratulations Baely!

 

Level 9's Bring Home 13 Medals from Westerns

The level 9 team had an awesome showing at the 2009 Western Championships and came home 13 medals. Nikki placed 5th on beam, 3rd on floor and 6th in the All-Around in the junior 1 age group. Elizabeth placed 4th on vault, 6th on bars and 6th in the all-around in the junior 2 age group. Lauren placed 6th on bars in the junior 2 age group. Amanda placed 3rd on floor in the junior 6 age group. And Kayla finished out the meet and her senior year with 4 WESTERN TITLES. Kayla placed second on vault and was the Western Champion on bars, beam, floor and the all-around in the senior 7 age group. Congratulations to all of the girls on a great showing! We are so proud of all of you!
